Adam's mother and older brother are very involved in Mauritania through this association, founded in 2022. This association is dedicated to supporting young people and carrying out solidarity, health, and development initiatives between France and Mauritania to help those most in need.

As a clothing store, we wanted to contribute to this trip. We customized about forty t-shirts with our logo and the Mauritanian flag. These t-shirts were distributed to people in need.
The first, and undoubtedly most significant action, was the distribution of water in an isolated village near Nouakchott. In Mauritania, access to drinking water is a major challenge in many regions. We accompanied a water tanker truck, and this moment of solidarity touched us deeply, making us aware of the importance of this resource.
During a previous trip, the association "Les Colibris du Sahel" met Mamadou, a young boy with a heartbreaking story. Following an accident, he unfortunately had to have his left leg amputated. The association accompanied him to the clinic in Nouakchott to prepare his future prosthesis and also financed his school fees as well as his supplies. During our trip, we were able to visit him at his school.
We also met an association for people with albinism. Suffering from a rare genetic disease, these young people do not produce melanin, which makes them very vulnerable to the sun's rays. Unfortunately, they are often pushed to the margins of society and stigmatized. We were able to provide them with sunscreen, sunglasses, caps, and school supplies.
Almost every day, we played soccer with the local youth. This popular sport in Mauritania allowed us to have fun and build connections.
This trip was marked by the warm welcome of the Mauritanian people. I made wonderful encounters, discovered their traditions, and learned a lot about this country and its inhabitants. I would like to thank Adam's family for inviting me to join them on this trip and for their hospitality in Mauritania.
